Tina Skehan, RN, DNP, Health Coach
I've worked in all capacities of nursing for the past 20 years, including acute medical-surgical care, and previously obtained my Master’s in Nursing Practice.
In 2023, I earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. I have also expanded my job title to teaching as a professor of nursing. It’s been amazing to have a hand in shaping the nurses of the future while continuing to care for patients as an RN in the medical-surgical unit.
In 2026, I became a certified health coach, and I am so excited to bring a new service to our clients.
I am honored to have your trust in us as we introduce IV Therapy and vitamin injections to the central Maine community!

Jenee Wechsler, ACNP
I am a board-certified acute care Nurse Practitioner. I love caring for others and have been working in orthopedics for seven years.
Previous to that, I worked in a hospital setting in oncology, medical-surgical, and pre and post-surgical care for seven years.
As an NP, I also have had the ability to introduce and oversee medical weight loss programs here in our lounges, making GLP-1 injections affordable and accessible to our community
I'm very excited to be a partner in providing professional IV Therapy and vitamin injection services to central Maine.

Sarah Jordaan, RN
My nursing background is in emergency medicine. I worked in the emergency department at a local hospital for ten years. During that time, I attained my national accreditation as a board certified emergency nurse. Before that, I worked in several other departments within the health care system.
My top priority today is homeschooling my 2 young children. We travel often and do our best to fill their childhoods with adventure.
In 2013, I cofounded the non-profit organization HAND Philippines. We serve underprivileged populations there with annual medical missions and special projects. I also volunteer for the Maine Emergency Response System. I am a lifelong caregiver, and I look forward to caring for you.

Henk Jordaan, MD
I am a board-certified Interventional Radiologist who has been working in central Maine for the past twenty years.
After graduating from medical school at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, I worked as an ER Physician and Family Medicine Doctor in northern Canada.
I enjoy traveling with my wife, Sarah, and our two young kids.
As a part of IV HydraLounge, I look forward to making the benefits of IV Therapy and injections more accessible in central Maine.

Our amazing reception team is dedicated to making your visit seamless from beginning to end. After checking your vitals, they’ll offer you a drink, blanket, and optional eye mask or earplugs, ensuring you can focus on your health in total comfort.

Important Update Regarding IV Therapy in Maine
New state regulations are changing how IV therapy clinics can operate across Maine.
At IV HydraLounge, our mission has always been simple: provide safe, medically supervised IV therapy that's accessible when our community needs it most.
Recently adopted regulations in Maine will drastically change how outpatient IV therapy clinics are allowed to operate. While we fully support regulations that prioritize patient safety, these new requirements are some of the most restrictive in the country and go far beyond established healthcare practices used safely every day in hospitals, physician offices, and infusion centers.
Under the new rules, physicians—not Registered Nurses—must oversee IV infusions and Vitamin Injections before they can be administered.
For our patients, this means:
Reduced flexibility
Delays in receiving treatment and longer wait times
Less access for those needing timely hydration or wellness support
For healthcare providers across Maine, these regulations could lead to:
Reduced access to preventative wellness services
Increased healthcare costs
Fewer healthcare options in rural communities
Challenges for locally owned healthcare practices
Reduced patient choice
Our Registered Nurses are highly trained, licensed healthcare professionals who have safely prepared and administered IV therapies under provider oversight for years. This long-standing model is widely accepted throughout healthcare and has an excellent safety record.
We are asking Maine leaders to reconsider two specific provisions of these regulations:
Allow Registered Nurses to prepare IV infusions under advanced practice provider standing orders.
Remove the requirement that physicians personally prepare IV infusions.
These changes would continue to prioritize patient safety while preserving access to the care thousands of Mainers rely on.
